Inspiration from a VERY unlikely source.

     So a few days ago I was talking to my neighbor and it came up that I wrote a book. He didn't believe me so I went and grabbed a copy of D&K and showed it to him and he was completely in awe.
"Man that is really badass!" He smiled and flipped through the pages.
     I didn't really know how to take it. I was kind of just staring blankly like 'Why is he making such a big deal about this?' But then he went on and on for forever about how he was super proud to even know me and if he were me he'd be doing book signing every where and be all like 'ha-ha bitches I got published' and it finally hit me...I'm so taking my God given gift for granted. What the hell has been wrong with me that I can't even see when I've done something truly extraordinary with my life. I was really touched by his compliments. And I decided then on my pity party that I'd been throwing for myself was officially over.
     What pity part? Well let's see first we lost one of our cars due to an electrical fire  then I had my own personal drama at home. And now one of my relatives is sick in the hospital and I'm terrified. But then I had to realize that me sitting at home sulking is not going to change anything. Being the leader of the woe is me parade was getting old and fast! So thankfully he unknowingly came along and slapped me out of it haha. So now I'm back to me, Mari ^_~
