Whoa! Allow me to post this real quick! (Prepared for rude ass comments) BUT just because you date/marry/whatever another race that does NOT mean that you are whatever race he is. Was gonna check out this group with ppl like me (married Latino men) BUT I got pissed right away. Things are looking crazy off the bat! Mariposa Urbana is my pen name so that's different from some of you confused chicas who all of a sudden think your name is Consuela.... Please stop making the rest of us look bad. "I was born in Puerto Rico" umm okay sister girl. I'm from Plainfield NJ and at the time there was nothing but Mexicans there so I knew more Selena songs than Aretha Franklin early on but I never ever forgot who I am, smh we have got to do better.

 If you meet a Hispanic man that doesn't mean go out ang take Salsa lessons or all of a sudden act like all you eat is arroz con pollo. That was not the person he met so don't act all ratchet trying to transform yourself into something you're not. Be you!
